Words about REMA and Nigerian Music Industry
Rema the newly signed Mavin artist has really shown there isn’t anything like impossibility. This is an era where music is taking a paradigmatic shift from Nigerian style of copycats. Most artist thinks it’s all about doing crazy stuff that can make one dance but here is a young guy that has become a source of motivation to many existing artists. Here talent is playing a major role.
Rema has refused to follow trend. In a normal situation what every up and coming artist do is copy songs and think it will get them anywhere good.
What I have learned from REMA is that whatever genre of music or style of music you choose can still get you to stardom. It’s all about how good and dedicated you are. Music in Nigeria is witnessing a big change and am so proud of Rema taking the first step as a game changer.
Rema has not even dropped an album but look at how popular he has become by doing what he believe is his style.
